Validity

An approval is valid for five years. This Directory should not refer to products which were listed more than five years ago, however in exceptional circumstances, providing a re-application has been submitted within the five year period, the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme will maintain a listing in this Directory for a period not exceeding one further year.

This publication lists:-

  • Water Fittings and Materials which have been tested and found to comply with the requirements of Water Regulations during the past five years.

  • Products and Services which have been independently assessed by WRc, BSi, BBA and BuildCert and found to conform to European, National, International Standards and their equivalents.

  • Substances, products and processes approved under Regulation 31 for use in connection with the supply of water for drinking, washing, cooking or food production purposes. (As published by the Drinking Water Inspectorate) 

 

 

Section 1 of the Directory lists Water Fittings which are WRAS Approved Products.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Section 2 contains a list of WRAS Approved Materials and Related Products.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Section 3 contains a list of British Standards that are accepted by the industry as meeting the requirements of regulations and byelaws

Section 4 contains a list of water industry accredited RPZ Valve Testers.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Section 5 contains a link to the WRc Approved website, together with links to the BuildCert website where certified products can be found including a comprehensive list of Type2 and Type3 Thermostatic Mixing Valves suitable for use in the UK.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Section 6 contains a link to the List of substances, products and processes approved under Regulation 31 and 32 by the Drinking Water Inspectorate (DWI)
