These are the rules about running the company that members and ‘officers’ (directors or company secretary) have to agree to. For example, rules about how decisions that affect the company must be made and the role of members in those decisions. The members of WRAS are UK water suppliers.
The memorandum of association can be found here.
The memorandum of association is a statement made by each subscriber confirming their intention to form a company and become a member of that company. It is no longer required to state the name of the company, the type of company (such as public limited company or private company limited by guarantee), the location of its registered office, the objects of the company, and its authorised share capital. Companies incorporated prior to 1 October 2009 are not required to amend their memorandum.
