Heat interface unit providing indirect central heating (space heating) and instantaneous hot water via a district heating heat input circuit. The connection to the water supply incorporates an approved check valve cartridge however, the complete product has not been fully tested to demonstrate it provides backflow protection. The hot water and central heating is generated via a plate heat exchanger by the use of district heating. The space heating circuit incorporates an expansion vessel and an expansion relief valve (3.0 bar). Maximum working pressures: District heating circuit 16.0 bar. Central heating Circuit 2.5 bar. Domestic hot water 10.0 bar. Maximum operating temperature 85°C.
Airfix D-E range of expansion vessels with white epoxy coated steel bodies and EPDM diaphragm. Maximum working pressure 10.0 bar. Maximum operating temperature 100°C.
Range of cylindrical expansion vessels incorporating butyl rubber diaphragms. The products are supplied with an Airfix TD T piece. Maximum working pressure of model Airfix D 35 litre is 8.0 bar. All other models have a maximum working pressure of 10.0 bar. Maximum operating temperature 100°C.
Permanent filling/ pressurisation device for primary heating and chilled water closed circuits in domestic and non-domestic premises. The mains and closed circuit system pressures are continuously checked by two pressure sensors and their differential monitored by microprocessors. In the event of a fall in system pressure, and only if the mains pressure is adequate, a solenoid valve operates to allow water into the system. At all other times a second solenoid valve drains the fill chamber to waste, via tundish (meeting the requirements of an air gap to drain), and allowing air to be admitted via an automatic air vent to create an atmospheric disconnection across the transfer chamber. Maximum working pressure 6.0 Bar. Cold water use only.
Range of pressure reducing valves with DZR brass bodies adjustable between 1.0 and 6.0 bar. The valves incorporate a stainless steel strainer. Maximum supply pressure 25.0 bar or 16.0 bar (see model). Maximum operating temperature 80°C.
Range of pressure reducing valves with DZR brass bodies, internal stainless steel filter, EPDM ‘O’-rings and diaphragm. Adjustable outlet pressures between 1.0 and 6.0 bar Maximum inlet supply pressure 25.0 bar. Maximum operating temperature 80°C.
Range of expansion vessels with butyl membranes. Maximum working pressure 8.0, 10.0, 16.0 or 20.0 bar (please refer to model). Maximum operating temperature 70 or 100°C (please refer to model).
Range of shock arrestors with stainless steel bodies and EPDM diaphragm. Maximum working pressure 10 bar. Maximum operating temperature 70°C
Range of expansion vessels with epoxy coated steel bodies and EPDM diaphragms. Maximum working pressure 8.0 or 10.0 bar (please refer to model). Maximum operating temperature 70°C or 100°C (please refer to model).
